Our mission is to inspire Americans to pressure their representatives in government to do what’s necessary for the United States of America to become energy independent. Energy independence is National Security issue as well as having a large effect on our economy. The high gas and other fuel prices raise the cost of living for all Americans. We must drill now and save money. Included in this mission is a commitment to remind all American Citizens of the powerful premise on which our Constitution was based:

Given that we’re spending billions of stimulus dollars to rebuild our highways, it makes sense to think about what we’ll be driving on them. For years to come, most of what we drive will be powered, at least in part, by diesel fuel or gasoline. To fuel that driving, we need access to oil. The less use we make of our own reserves, the more we will have to import, which leads to a number of harmful consequences. That means we need to drill here and drill now

As we have stated, in many e-mails sent out, The new congress will kill the newly approved offshore drilling bill and it will go away so we need to get back to pushing all involved understand that we cannot be dependent on foreign oil. The people have been lulled into a false sense of security with the falling fuel prices, it can and most likely will go back up with the help of the Federal and State taxes.

The elected (by us) officials in Washington D.C., and in the individual United States, work for us, you and me. The current energy crisis is the sorry result of these persons letting the minority rule the majority.

The lack of, and mis-information being spread by the Media on this energy situation is behavior tantamount to malfeasance, bordering on the criminal. The media neglects to tell us: that Sea life abounds around drilling rigs; that professionals in the fishing industry have told the government: Do Not Take Them Out! That up in Alaska, the Porcupine Caribou have been thriving and multiplying around and near the heated oil pipeline coming out of Prudo Bay.

The immigration debacle was stopped because "We the People" contacted our elected representatives and told them NO.

Here’s another opportunity for us to make our patriotic presence felt in Washington D.C. Contact every one of your elected officials any way you can, and tell them to DRILL NOW! The pen is so much mightier than the sword. Sign every petition, send e-mails, and use a stamp on your snail-mail. It is very easy to delete e-mail and ignore an electronic document with a million names on it, but when the mail piles up on the desk it is another story.

Governor Crist in Florida is changing his mind, but then again China is taking oil from his backyard in an area that could technically be called U.S. soil. The governor of California needs to hear from the people that took out Grey Davis and let him know how we feel. Governor Schwarzenegger, We the People of The United States say: DRILL FOR OIL NOW!
